Melissa McCarthy flaunts her new, slimmed-down figure in the latest trailer of her upcoming film, “The Boss.” The actress has reportedly lost 50lbs recently and her weight-loss journey has always been an inspiration for many plus-size women.

McCarthy also launched her lingerie collection, The Melissa McCarthy Seven7 collection at Los Angeles' Lane Bryant, where everyone was surprised to see her noticeably thinner frame. McCarthy's collection ranges from size 4 to 28.

Celebrity Health and Fitness magazine has credited “high-protein, low carb diet,” for McCarthy's weight loss. The actress also worked out doing Pilates and walking, revealed the website, adding that McCarthy followed the same low-carb diet as Megan Fox and Tim McGraw did, who both lost dramatic amounts of weight.

She also wanted to look good for her daughters Vivian and Georgette. “Melissa realized she wasn’t being as healthy as she could be,” the website quoted McCarthy's friend as saying. “She wants to set a good example for her kids and she wants to be around to become a grandmother too.”

Though “The Bridesmaids” actress has not revealed any weight loss tips, she previously said in an appearance at the “CBS This Morning” that her secret to weight loss is that she has “stopped worrying about it.”

"I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, over-doing anything. I kinda went back to when I was pregnant and I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked. I could've figured that out before 44, but whatever," said the actress.

"I feel amazing and I finally said, "Oh, for God sakes, stop worrying about it' and it may be the best thing I've ever done," she added.

In her latest movie, “The Boss,” McCarthy plays the role of Michelle Darnell, a pitiless, aureate and wealthy business woman, who knows how to get things done. The film is expected to release on April 16, 2016.
