Manchester United new import Daley Blind has reacted strongly to criticism coming his way from ex Manchester United captain Gary Neville. Brazilian Anderson, officially on sale, is unable to get any bids for his transfer. Paraguayan under 18 striker Sergio Diaz is attracting attention from Manchester United and finally of the total shirts that Manchester United sell only 10 percent of them are bought from people living in Manchester.

Ex Manchester United captain and present television pundit Gary Neville had criticized Daley Blind’s playing style saying that he plays too many square passes and usually takes the easy option out. Blind has reacted strongly to such criticism by saying that that is what they have been instructed to carry out in the training gourds. According to him by playing square passes he helps his team keep the ball. He also points out that he sacrifices himself and makes the other players more important thus keeping team’s interest ahead of his personal one. He insists that he is not averse to listening to criticism about him on television but he thinks that he has played some quality football while at Manchester United.

Brazilian import Anderson is failing to attract any potential bids to take him away from Manchester United. He has been officially put up for sale by consecutive managers David Moyes and Louis van Gaal. He was bought by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2007 for £20m from Porto. He has been known for his unprofessional lifestyles and is prone to putting on weight. He was sent on loan to Fiorentina last season where he could not impress the club management. It seems that clubs are waiting for his contract to get over this summer and then take a call on him.

It has been reported in the Paraguayan press that under 18 striker Sergio Diaz has attracted the attention of clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool. Presently he is playing at the under 20 South American Championship in Uruguay.

Finally sports shirt seller Sports Direct has revealed that all the Manchester United shirts they sell only 10 % of them are bought from people living at Manchester. For Manchester City it comes down to 5%, for the London clubs that percentage is over 50% from London.
