Microsoft might officially unveil the Lumia 950 or the "Talkman" and the Lumia 950 XL or the "Cityman" on Oct. 10. This is very good news for avid Microsoft tech users as rumours about these flagships have been making their rounds all over the Internet for quite some time now.

As pointed out by Tech Times, it would appear that Microsoft has opted to place more of its focus on its entry level smartphones during the most part of 2015. To date, the company has not launched any Lumia handset, nor has it confirmed any of the rumors that continue to circulate on the Internet.

It was trusted tipster, Evan Blass or EvLeaks, who tipped that the upcoming Lumia units will be out on Oct. 10. According to the tip, the upcoming devices are going to come out with very powerful specs and features. However, there has been no details regarding its overall design. Some rumours have stated that the gadgets will have an all-metal exterior, while others claim the units are going to boast of bodies made from polycarbonate material.

It was also reported that the Lumia 950 is going to have a 5.2-inch screen display with a Quad HD resolution with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. The Lumia 950 XL, meanwhile, will sport a much larger screen - at 5.7 inches - with the same display specs, but a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

According to the report, both of these upcoming flagship devices are going to boast of 3 GB of RAM, 20MP PureView primary rear cameras, and 5MP front photo snappers. Plus, they will also both be running on Windows 10 MObile. The Lumia 950 XL, however, is expected to be more superior than the other, with some pretty advanced biometric features, such as an iris scanner.
