The founding members of rock band Oasis are left with a legal shamble as guitarist Liam sues vocalist Noel for a comment made a couple of years back.

It seems that bands with brothers for members just can't get enough of bashing each other, and british rock legends, Oasis, is no different. Vocalist Liam Gallagher is out to sue his guitarist brother Noel for a comment he made when asked why the band didn't play at 2009's V Music Festival. Noel reacted that they weren't able to play because of his brother's drunkenness. Two years later, Liam fumed and now wants to sue his brother for the comment he made.

According to a report, Noel has confirmed that his brother Liam has started to pursue legal action against him. Liam decided to sue his brother after Noel disregarded Liam's demand for a public apology regarding the comment he made two years ago. In a video posted on YouTube, Noel has confirmed that Liam had a doctor's note saying the singer was ill and could not possibly perform for the V Music Festival.

"Yes there is truth in that story that Liam is suing me. For the record it is a fact that he was diagnosed with Laryngitis and it is a fact that he had a doctor's note to prove it" says Noel in the 1-hour long video. While taking about other things, Noel started to open up about the issue after the 19th minute of the video.

"I'd just like to say that if he gets offended by my opinions on such things then I apologise. It's all getting a little silly and out of hand and it's not very cool." added Noel Gallagher in the same video.
