The "I'm Into You" singer has revealed that she was on the verge of wearing out as a judge in American Idol due to her rocky relationship with ex Marc Anthony.

The actress famously known for crossing over to the music industry with the song "Jenny From the Block," has revealed in an interview that she had a hard time filming the last couple of weeks of "Idol". According Jennifer Lopez, she was already worn out by the end of the season where 17-year-old Scottie MCcreery from North Carolina won.

"I got a little bit tired at the end with everything going on in my life at the time," says Lopez in an interview posted by people.com. The singer was obviously referring to her recent break up with Latin singer husband Marc Anthony just 8 weeks after the finale. Lopez and Anthony have been married for seven years, and share twins together named Max and Emme. Lopez and her twins appeared in an ad by fashion house Gucci last Nov., a billboard where they posed along the sandy shores of Sunset Strip.

In the same post, Lopez added that the reason she stayed was because of the fun she had with AI co-judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, as well as host Ryan Seacrest. Lopez describes American Idol as "one of the best things I've ever been involved with," in the same People.com post. When producers of the show asked her if she wanted to stay for another season, Lopez quickly agreed to do it all over again.

"I was like 'OK I'm gonna do it again." says the singer, whose debut album "On the 6," stayed at the Billboard Top 20 for 11 weeks.
