After more than six months since the release date of Adele's second album "21" , it continues to dominate major music charts in Australia.

The British soul diva responsible for hits such as "Chasing Pavements" and "Rolling in the Deep" is still the queen of the charts with her sophomore record "21." The songs, which draws from Adele's own life, are still currently on top of ARIA charts for 15 weeks and they seem to be going strong. It has already sold 420,000 units in the country alone, making it six times platinum - a historic feat for someone who also has another album in the top 5 position. This kind of achievement doesn't happen too often, especially for an up and comer like Adele.

Adele's first release, "19," is sitting pretty at the no.5 position in the ARIA charts despite being released in 2008. Other albums who share the ARIA top 5 spots are Kanye West and Jay-Z's "The Throne," and Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black". Aussie rockers Eskimo Joe debuted at the no. 3 spot with their album "Ghosts of the Past," which includes hits such as "Foreign Land" and "Sky's on Fire."

Just recently, Adele has admitted that she used to seek the help of alcohol to make her lyrics "more honest." Though credited as a hazy phase in her younger years, Adele says she kept a "drunk diary" where she pours her thoughts constantly.

"A drunk tongue is an honest one in my opinion and the next morning I would read it through with an awful hangover and, in the cold light of day, had to absorb my feelings about myself," says the singer in a report.
