LG G4 is all set to get unveiled on April 28 at multiple locations like Seoul, New York, London, Paris and Istanbul. Fresh reports reveal that the South Korean will make the LG G4 available for purchase on May 31.

According to Pocket-lint, it has been revealed through LG’s South Korean website that the sales of LG G4 will start on May 31 in the home market. Even though the Korean source does not confirm on it but the said date may also be the international LG G4 release date.

For customers who will preorder the LG G4, the South Korean company is giving away free display replacement service. In case a user happens to break the display of the device within the first year of purchase, he or she will be entitled to avail free screen replacement.

HTC is also offering a same kind of service on the HTC One M9, but it is only applicable for buyers in the U.S. Pocket-lint is of the view that the LG is offering the free display replacement offer only for G4 purchasers in the home country.

LG is also giving away a free 64 GB microSD along with the LG G4. Through this it can be known that the LG G4 will come with a microSD storage slot. The Samsung Galaxy S6 that was released recently lacks a microSD card slot.

The South Korean source also revealed that the LG G4 houses an f/1.8 aperture 16 MP rear camera. On the front, it houses an 8 MP selfie camera. The device will be available in varied colour options. It will also come with multiple rear panel options such as plastic or leather cover.

According to GSM Arena, in selected countries, LG will be holding demonstration program LG G4 that will allow users to first use the device before it is officially launched. As far as other specs of the LG G4 is concerned, the International Business Times report claims that it will come with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, native storage of 32 GB, Android 5.1 Lollipop and more.

Since the LG G4 is not featuring the most recent Snapdragon chipset i.e. Snapdragon 810, it may lose its flagship position. The LG G Flex 2 that was released earlier this year came with Snapdragon 810. Also, the unannounced LG G4 Note is speculated to come with Snapdragon 810 SoC. The IBTimes report from previous month highlights that the next Nexus smartphone will come loaded with features of the LG G4 and the LG G4 Note.
