Ash from New Zealand's Mount Tongariro covers houses
Ash from New Zealand's Mount Tongariro covers houses in this still image taken from video, August 7, 2012. A New Zealand volcano dormant for more than a century has spewed boulders and spread an ash cloud over the center of the country, disrupting air traffic but causing no other damage or injuries. Mount Tongariro, one of three volcanic peaks in the central North Island, roared into life late on Monday night, as craters on the mountain located in a national park near popular hot springs, exploded with bright flashes and thunderous booms. A report submitted to the Mutual Unidentified Flying Objects Network, or MUFON on September 29, revealed a strange UFO sighting case. A couple from Arizona, claimed to have seen a house that strangely appeared and then disappeared. They submitted a detailed report that described the entire course of the incident, which had occurred in December 2012. Contrasting to normal UFO sighting reports, the witnesses reported seeing a rectangular object that seemed like a house.

Describing the incident, the couple said that they had noticed the house that looked like a "single-wide mobile home," in an open field across the street. They stated that they lived in Sierra Vista and had seen the object at 9:45 in the night. The report reads, "We were surprised to see a house."

They further explained that the field was completely fenced and for years there was nothing there. They did not even hear or see anyone shifting a house there. The witnesses went on to describe the alleged object. They said that it had a door, with windows on each side. It was brightly lit, but the house or object looked empty. In their report, they stated, "We sat there discussing how odd it was that we never saw it being moved in or how quickly electricity seemed to be hooked up but shook it off and went to bed."

The witness found that the house had vanished the next day and there was nothing there. No sign of anything entering or leaving the field. There was no way that someone could have pulled in a trailer, they explained. They believe that the house could not have been brought in there. The couple is not sure as to what they had witnessed, if it was a UFO or something else. "We don't know for sure what it was, but it was very, very odd."

There are several possibilities that what the couple witnessed may have been something other than a UFO but clear conclusions cannot be drawn. Previously also, there have been reports of oddly shaped objects seen flying in the sky. In March, Huffington Post reported the sighting of a cigar shaped UFO that was caught on camera, moving over Ukraine. The site stated that the incident may not have been true and if it would have occurred, the object may have probably been ocean-going military aircraft carriers. The video, however, had many people believing in it and some who did not. Whether it was a hoax or not, could not be concluded.

There have also been boomerang shaped UFO sighting reports submitted to MUFON. Till date, the truth behind these reports has not been found. They are open to deliberation and speculation.

OpenMinds.TV, a site that provides information on UFO news and investigation stated that the city Sierra Vista in Cochise County, Arizona has a population of 43,888. It has a current UFO Alert Rating of 4 as the number of UFO reports are low in the country. In August 2014 there were 10 UFO sighting reports.
