Bruce Jenner shocked the nation on Friday evening when he declared on ABC News, “I am a woman.” The former Olympian has received massive support not only from his family but also from his celebrity friends. The moment Bruce announced about his gender transition journey on the ABC show “Bruce Jenner: The Interview,” support messages started pouring in on Twitter from various celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Ellen DeGeneres and many others.

Lady Gaga called Bruce's declaration as an act of “bravery” while model Cara Delevingne wrote on her Twitter account that her respect for Bruce has increased after this news. She also said that it takes a lot of courage for somebody to do what Bruce has done. Singer Sam Smith too offered support to Bruce on his decision to come out as a woman and called it a “brave,” “courageous” and “inspiring” act.

Jimmy Fallon applauded Bruce in a stylish way by writing on Twitter that Bruce's big revelation is “one small step for man” but a “giant leap for mankind” while Andy Cohen was of the view that Bruce will “change the lives” of many people. Larry King said that Bruce is also supported by former Olympian and decathlon gold medal winner Rafer Johnson. Meanwhile, Lena Dunham posted a long message for Bruce on social media. “The bravery it takes to face an often unforgiving public and speak openly about your identity is stunning and to be celebrated,” said Dunham adding that his words will have an “incredible” effect on many people.

Oprah Winfrey also tweeted a message of support for Bruce and said that all people deserve the right to be loved for who they are. “Problem” singer Ariana Grande called Bruce as a “beautiful” person and sent her love to him. Latin singer Ricky Martin thanked Bruce for coming out and said that his “testimony will make this world a better place” Singer Miley Cyrus too supported Bruce and called him “Bruce Almighty.” The “Wrecking Ball” songstress got “chills” while hearing the powerful speech by Bruce. “WE ARE GONNA CHANGE THE WORLD,” added the singer.
