Fans who are in the lookout for another "Twilight" film will be delighted to know that Kristen Stewart (Bella) has spoken out. The actress has recently talked about whether or not she will reprise her role as Bella, the main female protagonist in the franchise.

In an interview with Press Association, Stewart was asked if she would like to go back to the set of “Twilight.” “We kind of finished the series. We made five movies. I think we kind of did it justice,” she answered.

Although the actress’ answer did not directly confirm if she will be back in a new instalment, she seemed excited for the continuation of the story. Shall Stephanie Meyer write another book, she said, she will be among the first one to grab a copy. “I would definitely be the first to read it, yeah,” she told Press Association (via Metro). Meyer is silent about a possible new book, but it seems it is the only thing that producers of the “Twilight” saga are waiting for to be able to produce another instalment.

Metro notes that Stewart’s interest to be among the first ones to read Meyer’s book is a possible indication that she’d secure a copy to research her character’s story for the next film. The publication has also noted that it would mean a lot if the actress reprises her role in the franchise as it might as well mean her “Twilight” leading man, Robert Pattinson, would be reprising his role as Edward Cullen too. The two dated after meeting on the set, but reports of their breakup circulated six months after the final film, "Breaking Dawn Part Two," was released.

Everything seemed smooth in their relationship until Stewart admitted in 2012 that she had an affair with “Snow White And The Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders while in a relationship with Pattinson. Per Mirror, the relationship never really recovered after the said affair. Both actors are now in new relationships and if they could put the past behind, it is likely that they will both reprise their roles in a possible next instalment of the saga.

Both camps have not officially confirmed their involvement for the next film. Apart from her portrayal of Bella, fans would also recognise Stewart for her portrayal of Jodie Foster's daughter in the thriller “Panic Room.” She earned a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Feature Film for the said film.
