Perhaps it was just random or did the Duchess of Cambridge opt to be patriotic during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration? Kate Middleton donned dresses on three jubilee events with the colors of the British flag.

It has just been roughly over a year since she married Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is already an expert to picking out appropriate dresses for such events. And during her grandmother-in-law's Diamond Jubilee anniversary celebration, it would be safe to say that Kate Middleton did no wrong in terms of fashion.

The Duchess of Cambridge relied on famous fashion house Alexander McQueen for the three events she attended during the Queen's celebration of being60 years in power. But more than being stylish, the 30-year-old royal preferred red, blue and cream ensembles. Colors that resemble the British flag.

At Sunday's Diamond Jubilee pageant, Kate impressed with a striking red Alexander McQueen dress complete with a headdress. After that she wore a more affordable navy blue "Whistle" brand dress which she topped with an Alexander McQueen blazer on another event. And just yesterday morning she showed up at the St. Paul's Cathedral wearing a regal beige lace dress which was designed by Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen. She paired the dress with her signature LK Bennett nude pumps, a clutch from Prada and a headdress by Jane Taylor.
