The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is known for her clever fashion choices, most of them simple and classic. But during the celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Kate makes a bold fashion move.

Kate Middleton, together with the rest of the Royal Family waved at a huge number of audiences as they go on board of the Spirit of Chartwell at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames in London. And though standing alongside other royals, Kate Middleton managed to steal the spotlight with her red striking dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge frequently smiles and waved as she stood beside the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William and Prince Harry during the three-hour trip on Thames.

Kate and William arrived at the Cadogan Pier just before 2 p.m. as crowds gathered around to catch a glimpse of the royal couple. Kate paused for a while as she accepted flowers from a 5-year-old Henry Moffat from Chelsea who was among the audience.

"She asked how long we'd been here. We told her this is another William. She giggled and said 'You're cute'," Henry's father shared their brief conversation with the Duchess.

Kate's sister Pippa Middleton also took part at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant. She was snapped waving at the camera and flashing a great big smile a she stood beside a crowd.
