The Duchess reigned over the best dressed list, leading over the likes of singer Cheryl Cole, and other fashionable celebrities.
First, Kate Middleton named London the new fashion capital of the world, now she is officially the most fashionable personality in high society. The Duchess of Cambridge was named the top fashion icon by a survey of 3,000 of online shoppers and fashion fans.
Finishing second to the Duchess is X-Factor judge and singer Cheryl Cole, proving that the "polished and ladylike" look is on trend more than the revealing and racy mini dresses.
The Duchess' younger sister Pippa nabbed the third spot for her laid-back, socialite appeal. Just like her older sister, Pippa rose to the fashion spotlight after appearing in a sleek Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress for the Royal Wedding. The Duchess wore a lace gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the same brand she was always seen wearing.
Coming in at fourth is model Coleen Rooney, wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, and The Saturdays member Mollie King at fifth place.
Just recently, it has been announced that some of the Duchess' favorite designers were nominated for major recognition at this year's British Fashion Awards.
Known to sport designs from top designers of today, the Duchess of Cambridge has a soft and polished style that even Hollywood A-listers are dying to copy. Anne Hathaway has said in a past interview that she "is grateful" for the "ladylike" style the Duchess brought back to the fashion scene.
