She's only been crowned Miss Universe for less than a day, but the buzz surrounding the elegant African queen is getting thicker by the minute.

The 25-year-old former model from Angola has now become the world's most watched woman after winning the 2011 Miss Universe crown. Lopes was born in Benguela, Angola, and grew up in the United Kingdom where she studied business management. Lopes became the official candidate of the Angolan community in the UK for the 2010 Miss Angolan pageant.

Lopes immediately impressed pre-pageant judges with her stunning looks and pleasant personality. After being called for the top 16, Lopes made it to the top 10, and then the coveted "top 5" where all ladies will get recognition. From 89 ladies, Lopes shared the spotlight with Miss Philippines, China, Brazil and Ukraine in the top 5, where she was questioned by Lea Salonga, a Filipino Broadway star famous for her work in Miss Saigon.

Lopes was asked that if there was "something she would like to change in her body, what would be it and why?" Being the natural beauty that she is, Miss Angola agreeably replied that she is satisfied with her looks and would not change a thing. True enough, her looks and personality secured the crown every woman in the world wishes to have.
