Jimmy Fallon injured his other hand while celebrating Harvard Lampoon award.

The TV host and comedian was celebrating his Harvard Lampoon “Emperor of Comedy” award in Cambridge on Saturday, when he tripped over a girl and injured his other hand, People reported. A source told People that Fallon fell over a “random girl” who “abruptly” kneeled in front of the comedian as he was turning around during the street celebration. The source added, “He tripped over her because he didn't see her."

Fallon was rushed to the Massachusetts General Hospital after the incident to receive emergency treatment. A parade attendee told People that the TV personality even assured everyone around him that “he was fine” after his tumble. Another fan even managed to capture Fallon’s fall on video and shared the clip on Instagram. Instagram user Cryan_Ryan captioned the post, “Jimmy Fallin folks!”

Meanwhile, the comedian took to social media to let his fans and followers know that he was doing okay after the accident. Fallon uploaded a picture of his injured hand on Instagram, which had two bands on it. He wrote, “Nothing that a few band aids couldn't fix.”

This is not the first time that the TV host has had an accident that left him with an injured hand. In June, Fallon had a kitchen accident where he severely injured his right hand, according to CNN. “I tripped and fell in my kitchen on a braided rug that my wife loves, and I can't wait to burn it to the ground," he explained. “My ring got caught on the countertop when I was going down, and stuck there and pulled my finger off."

The comedian not only broke his finger, but had to undergo a micro-surgery due to a “ring avulsion.” Fallon even labelled the accident as a “crazy story” and shared how in such incidents, the doctor would “usually… cut your finger off." Fallon said, "Apparently the odds aren't great with these things."
