The first season of the new CW hit comedy series “Jane The Virgin” is on the home stretch. With just four episodes left for the season, things are getting more complicated with the questions pouring in just as quickly as the answers. Here are some of the things that could be expected for the remainder of the season: [Spoiler Alert!]

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Jane will be having a very awkward baby shower in one of the remaining four episodes of the season. The awkwardness will arise from the fact that Rafael will show up uninvited, and his presence there will make Jane uncomfortable. Her discomfort is due to the fact that their differences will be highlighted by the baby shower activities and how little they know each other will once again be revealed.

The differences between the two have already been causing them problems in recent episodes. Rafael broke up with Jane on episode 18 after he felt overwhelmed by her expectations. His decision was also affected by the revelation that his own mother left him and his sister after being paid off by their father. Episode 19 will focus on Jane’s efforts to get him back but it appears that the couple have a long way to go before they iron out their issues.

Rafael and Jane’s relationship will still be strained due to Jane’s ex-fiancé, Michael. Even though he is currently back to dating his ex-girlfriend Andi, he will continue to be a wedge between Jane and Rafael.

Meanwhile, the same report from The Hollywood Reporter states that Xiomara will be getting a big break in her singing career. She has been struggling to find some kind of break, and the report suggests that things will start to take a good turn for her.

Finally, Executive Producer Jennie Urman had previously revealed that the baby will come out by the end of the season. The status of Jen’s relationship with Rafael when the time comes is still up in the air, but Urman assures that Jane will be a new mom before the start of Season 2. “Jane The Virgin” airs every Monday at 9 p.m. on The CW.
