The producers of “iZombie” have released three new clips from the premiere episode and a new trailer. The videos show how the protagonist in the series is always hungry and how she sometimes turns into a raging zombie, a phenomenon she describes as “zombie mode.” The pilot episode will focus on how the medical student changes and how she adapts to her new life. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]

The trailer of “iZombie” titled “Working Dead” and the three clips from the premiere episode reveal what the character Olivia “Liv” Moore looks like when she turns into a zombie. She can be seen in one of the scenes with actor David Andres saying that she calls the change as “zombie mode.”

Olivia, played by Rose McIver, says in the trailer that she “got mad” and “suddenly” she turned into “99 percent zombie.” She gets to eat human flesh at her job at the morgue and she becomes “meaner” if she doesn’t eat.

She is able to keep from turning fully into a zombie most of the time and can be seen chatting with friends and colleagues in the videos. The main plot of “iZombie” is about how Olivia uses her new found powers to help solve crime cases. Eating a human brain gives the character visions of the dreams and memories of the dead person. She we will be helping Detective Clive in the show.

Detective Clive, played by Malcolm Goodwin, is not very fond of zombies. One of the clips from the premiere episode shows the character telling that he would shoot his grandmother if he gets a hint that she has turned into a zombie.

Olivia is not the only zombie in the TV show. David Andres’ character, Blaine, is also just like the protagonist. Commenting on the videos, the fans expressed their excitement about watching the two characters in the TV show.

The pilot episode of “iZombie” is set to premiere on March 17, 2015. The episode will focus on how a boat massacre turns the protagonist into a zombie. The episode will also show that the character will have to sacrifice the love of her life to keep him safe.
