“Teen Wolf” cast member Orny Adams recently made a shocking announcement about his role in the supernatural MTV series. The 44-year-old actor revealed that he will not be returning as Coach Finstock in “Teen Wolf” Season 5.

Hypable writer Tariq Kyle shared the news about Coach Finstock’s absence in “Teen Wolf” Season 5 via Twitter. Actor Orny Adams made the announcement when he attended the Burbank “Teen Wolf” Days of the Wolf convention on Saturday, March 7.

“So @Ornyadams just announced as of now he's not a part of @MTVteenwolf season 5! His schedule didn't work. :( #daysofthewolf,” Kyle posted on his Twitter account @TRQhz. Orny Adams explained in a Hypable report that he had events in his work schedule that could not be cancelled so he had to decide if he can commit to “Teen Wolf” Season 5 or not.

Orny Adams further revealed that he is currently working on a Netflix special and he would like to focus more on his comedy career and international shows. The announcement made some “Teen Wolf” fans wonder if Coach Finstock is gone in the MTV series for good while others wonder how the recurring character will be written out of the show.

Meanwhile, some “Teen Wolf” fans still believe that character Bobby Finstock will still return as the lacrosse coach and economics teacher of Beacon Hills High. Coach Bobby Finstock has been a supporting character and a fan-favorite to some fans since “Teen Wolf” Season 1.

In “Teen Wolf” Season 3, the fans found out that Coach Finstock and Eichen House orderly Brunski knew each other in high school during a confrontation. Coach Finstock’s last appearance was in “Teen Wolf” Season 4, episode 12 titled “Smoke & Mirrors.”

Actress Holland Roden, who portrays banshee Lydia in the MTV series, teased last September 2014 in an exclusive Hollywood Life interview that some “Teen Wolf” character will not return in the brand new season. “You’re going to have to tune in for season five to see if we’re all coming back or not. That’s just the reality,” Holland shared while backstage at the New York Fashion Week.

“Teen Wolf” Season 5 is scheduled to return in June 2015.
