Actor Ian Somerhalder previously shared to his millions of fans about his new baby (the Airstream trailer) and new girl (dog Nietzche) in his life. Now, the "Vampire Diaries" heartthrob star revealed that a "new lady" is keeping his attention away for a while from the hectic filming schedule of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 as well as the circulating "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting news.

Ian shared on his social networking accounts Twitter and Instagram the photo of the new lady in his life: one of the puppies that his girl Nietzche gave birth to. "Woken up every two hours on the hour by this little lady... 1st check up photo-priceless," Ian posted on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder with the Instagram photo link.

In the EntertainmentWise report, Mr Somerhalder teased the TVD fans with the current love life status of his vampire character Damon Salvatore in Season 5. "Nina and I always joke about this, but despite the fact I'm 173 and she's 18, they're genuinely happy and it's cute to see their dynamic. To see Damon as this guy in love is adorable," the 34-year-old actor shared.

Ian Somerhalder further admitted that his life on-screen is already intertwining with his life off-screen. The actor shared: "I'm starting to see my life surface in the art and I'm starting to see the art surfacing in my life. It's a very interesting dichotomy actors live but they're supposed to be intertwined. Art should imitate life and life should imitate art."

Adding up to Ian's already busy work and personal life is the ongoing craze and pressure from the circulating "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting news where fans have been screaming out his name to portray the role of handsome but dark billionaire Christian Grey. The much coveted FSOG male lead role is currently vacant after "Sons of Anarchy" actor Charlie Hunnam backed out due to his busy TV schedule.

According to the Toronto Sun report, the Lovehoney.co.uk poll result shows actor Ian Somerhalder leading the choice to perfectly portray the Christian Grey role. Perez Hilton conducted as well another casting poll with the "Vampire Diaries" actor beating other fan-favorite actors like Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.

In the mean time, fans can watch Ian Somerhalder as vampire Damon Salvatore on the small screen in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 that airs Thursday nights on the CW network.
