Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are the "Golden Trio" of today's generation. Unlike the "Potter Golden Trio" version, these three play characters that pine for the attention and love of Jennifer Lawrence. With "Catching Fire" soon to hit the big screen, Liam and Josh lay it out as to whose team they fall in: "Team Peeta" or "Team Gale."

Suzanne Collins best-selling novel, "The Hunger Games" continues to be compared to the likes of "Harry Potter" and "Twilight". However, there are no similarities between the books save for a woman at the centre of each battle and storyline. In the books and films, Jennifer Lawrence plays the part of Katniss Everdeen, who is thrown into a post-apocalyptic world where people fight for survival.

Ironically, love plays a role in the film, with Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) and Liam Hemsworth's (Gale Hawthorn) characters involved. With the sequel to "Hunger Games" soon to hit the big screen, Josh and Liam talk about their respective characters and the "teams" fans put them up with.

"I don't necessarily think that 'Team Peeta' is the right choice," remarked Josh Hutcherson.

"I feel like Peeta has the more kind of sensitive, artistic listener side. And Gale is more protector/provider/caretaker type. If I were Katniss, I don't know who I would choose," he added.

Liam Hemsworth also shares his take on "Team Peeta" and "Team Gale." Like Hutcherson, Liam doesn't have a specific team in hand.

"What Gale knows is - as hard as it is to watch someone he cares deeply about fall in love with someone else - he really does care about her," explained Liam.

"All Peeta is trying to do is protect her and keep her alive and that's all Gale wants as well."

Aside from the love story in the film keeping the actors going, Josh Hutcherson says Suzanne Collins' novels have been teaching kids something else.

"I think that today with our generation, they're told all the time how they're supposed to be by the media, how they need to look or dress. I think this movie shows that you can go against the flow of things. That's what I did when I was a kid in Kentucky -- I went against the flow of things and went for what I wanted to do in life," stated Josh.

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set to debut in theatres nationwide by November 22, 2013. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Jena Malone and Sam Claflin.
