HTC appears to be getting ready in another round of smart phone competition in the market after announcing a launch of the second-generation of the HTC Butterfly very soon. According to the "Focus Taiwan" report, HTC Chief Marketing Officer Ben Ho claims the Taiwanese manufacturer plans the arrival of the HTC Butterfly 2 to happen in the later part of 2013.

"We have no plans for the time being to change the name of this series," Ho stated in a media conference. However, HTC later on decided to launch the Butterfly smart phone in the United States and Taiwan market where the device consumers are more engrossed with its bigger screen display size. HTC Butterfly received strong reception as well as demand and did significantly well when it comes to sales.

Though HTC Butterfly experienced production issues, Ben Ho revealed that the shortage problems have now been dealt with. Consumers will certainly expect features and specification improvements on the HTC Butterfly 2 since no further details were disclosed about the upcoming smart phone.
