Previously on “Homeland,” Sekou Bah (J. Mallory McCree) was perceived to have ratted on his own people so that he could get out of jail early. This does not happen easily for Muslim men who get arrested for supporting terrorism.

President-elect Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) asked Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) to give up confidential information and to use a kill switch when Dar Adal (F Murray Abraham) goes too far. As for Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), he has been doing his best to pull off an inside job in the Middle East and this is so dangerous that he can get both of them killed.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “Homeland” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.

After some serious handling and getting blindfolded, Saul finally meets up with Majud (Shaun Toub), the man he placed as informant way back in the third season. Saul needs to know the truth about the Iranian parallel nuclear program which, if true, would violate the agreement between US and Iran. Majid points out that regardless of what is real, half of their individual countries would still want to go to war.

Dar will try to pressure the incoming leader of the US to commit to moving on Iran by leaking a story to the New York Times just minutes before a press conference. This is an ambush, which is what happens to be what Dar is good at. Keane wants Saul’s report on the program immediately.

The official synopsis says that Keane will get sidelined. Carrie’s work will follow her home. As usual, Showtime does not want to give viewers a lot to work with by giving out vague and short descriptions.

The YouTube promo, however, makes it clear what kind of danger viewers are going to see when this episode airs. While the synopsis says that Carrie’s work will follow her, so will the entire city that will hold her responsible for her actions. Everyone in town will be outside Carrie’s house as they rave to get her interviewed and spill details on what she has been doing. Her daughter will get worried and Quinn (Rupert Friend) will find himself caught in the middle of a dangerous situation where he gets held up. They do not know, however, that he is the last person they want to encounter in these types of situations.

This episode of “Homeland” will air on Showtime on February 19 at 9 p.m. in the US. It also airs on Channel TEN in Australia.
