'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 episode 17 spoilers: Serial killer Dr. Madison Gray is back, covered in blood and with amnesia in ‘Hahaiinapilikuanui / Hunting Monsters’

Previously on “Hawaii Five-0,” Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) celebrated Valentine’s Day with their girlfriends, Lynn (Sarah) and Melissa (Lili Simmons), respectively. In this upcoming episode, titled “Hahai I napilikuanui,” which means “Hunting Monsters,” McGarrett and the team will be dealing with serial killer Dr Madison Gray (Elisabeth Rohm) and her cruel puzzles.

The episode synopsis of season 7 episode 17 on TV Guide stated that McGarrett and the team have again been embroiled in the twisted mind games of the serial killer. Dr Gray goes to the Honolulu Police Department covered in blood that matches Alicia Brown’s (Claire Forlani). Dr Gray, however, claims that she has amnesia.

According to Carter Matt, McGarrett and his group will try to find out whether Alicia is safe. They’ll also try to figure out how to deal with the returning Dr Gray. There will be a number of familiar faces in the next episode, some whom fans have long wanted to see again. The team is expected to experience a lot of difficulty trying to get through to Dr Gray. Her claim of having amnesia will further make it harder for the team to solve the mystery. On the other hand, she may only be pretending to have lost her memory as part of a huge twist.

The team will find it strange for Dr Gray to head to the HPD, after she was labelled as a serial killer. Fans are almost certain that she has planned everything from the beginning and is just waiting for the group to take her bait. McGarrett and the rest will first have to guarantee Alicia’s safety. Dr Gray may have her held captive somewhere, leading them into a big trap. The Five-o team will have their hands full in this story.

They also have to determine whether Dr Gray’s amnesia is real. If her condition turns out to be genuine, the team will need a way to reverse it. However, the police psychiatrist may not want to work with them again.

“Hawaii Five-0” season 7 episode 17 is directed by Roderick Davis and written by Rob Hanning. The episode will air on Feb. 17, 2017 on CBS in the US. It also airs on the TEN Channel in Australia.
