Back to the Bay reports that John and Marilyn struggle to accept a major change in their lives. Meanwhile, Evie goes out of control with Mason. Zac gets wind of Evie’s wild night and does something about it. Elsewhere, Kat drives away Ash as she deals with the latest blow in her life.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the July 26 episode. In the trailer, Matt tries to rein in Evie, who’s going wild at the party. She sneers at him, yelling, “If you don’t want to be here, just go!” Later, Evie makes a move on Mason, much to his surprise. The next day, Brody tries to discourage Mason from pursuing Evie, comparing her with Laura.

Elsewhere, Ash finds out about what Kat did and orders her, “Go back and say you’ve changed your mind.” Kat replies that she doesn’t deserve the job. Ash confides in on his sister, who talks to Kat. “A cop is black and white,” Kat says. “It’s about knowing what is wrong and what is right. After what I’ve done, that’s not me.”

“Home and Away” recap

On Monday, Kat was still mad at Ash for keeping Andy’s $50,000 from her. Thinking of herself as a crooked cop, Kat had a meltdown as she and Ash argued. She said she wanted to confess about everything. Ash reminded her that her revelation would affect other people. Kat was beside herself – she can’t even look at herself in the mirror while wearing her police uniform. Later at the station, Kat turned over her stuff and resigned from being a cop.

Marilyn and John were horrified to find their house robbed. When Kat interrogated them, Jordan accused his dad of being the culprit. Jordan apologised to the couple, but Marilyn and John told him they’re not mad at him and that he’s welcome to stay at their house. At the police station, Jordan confronted his dad about the burglary. However, the police didn’t find any evidence to incriminate Aaron. This didn’t stop Jordan from cornering his dad and asking him where John and Marilyn’s things were located. An argument ensued, and Jordan said he never wants to see him again.

Evie invited Matt and Mason to a school party, and they had drinks first at the Morgans’ house. Matt noticed there’s some kind of vibe between Evie and Mason, and he teased Evie about it. At the party, Evie seemed to be enjoying herself, but was having too many drinks. Matt confronted her about it and tried to stop her, but Evie brushed him off.
