For its last salvo this week, “Home and Away” has prepared a series of massive surprises for its followers. On Thursday, Duncan Stewart (Benedict Wall) backs his dad into a corner and forces Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) to know more about a young member of their family. Alf assumes that the only reason why Duncan is back is for his father’s will, but it seems there’s more to the story.

Meanwhile, Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger) reconnects with Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), but their budding friendship soon hits a snag. Other “Home and Away” cast members who will also appear on the upcoming installment include Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Matt Page (Alec Snow), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Justin Morgan (James Stewart), Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee), Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood), Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo), John Palmer (Shane Withington), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), Jordan Walsh (Benny Turland), Dr Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor), Danika Kulevski ( Ash Ricardo), Chris Harrington (Johnny Ruffo), Billie Ashford (Tessa De Josselin), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Hunter King (Scott Lee), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen) and Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger).

Back to the Bay reports that Olivia makes a new friend, and it might signal that she’s heading to splitsville with Hunter. Meanwhile, Marilyn and John are worried to lose Jordan, while Leah is concerned that her relationship with Zac is on the line. Elsewhere, Mason and Evie rekindle their friendship, but he does something that might just destroy their budding closeness. Elsewhere, Billie becomes wracked with guilt when she develops a friendship with Irene.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episode. In the trailer, Duncan goes back to Alf’s house and Leah let him in. “I thought I’d told you to go,” Alf says. Duncan retorts that he didn’t fly halfway around for nothing, and the least his dad could do is hear him out.

“Home and Away” recap

On Wednesday, things went sour when Phoebe attempted to convene Justin, Brody and Tori. The next day, Justin ran after Tori but she brushed him off and accused him of being a massive liar. Tired of being rebuffed, Justin said he’s done trying to win them back. Later, Tori ran into Kat, who were curious about Justin’s money. Tori said she and her brothers were surprised that Justin had that kind of cash. Kat grew more suspicious after hearing this. She then bumped into Justin and they talked about the garage. Kat expressed her doubts about Justin and Ash’s sudden friendship and partnership, as well as his money. Justin confronted Ash and told him to ask Kat to back off and stop digging for information.

Later, Kat arrived at the garage and confronted Ash about Justin’s money. She urged him to confess and Ash insisted he was telling the truth. Kat threatened to break up with him unless he stops lying. Backed in a corner, Ash was forced to admit the truth to Kat. Expectedly, Kat was raging mad and walked away. Ash then told Justin and Matt that he spilled to Kat. Justin became livid and said he won’t go to jail for it. Since the truth was now out, Justin cleared the air with Tori – he didn’t hide any money from them and he didn’t touch their life savings. However, Tori said she’s not sure she could trust her brother again.

Duncan did not have much luck in the family front either. Roo promised to help him go through Alf. Duncan tried his best to reach out to his dad, but even in front of other people, he continued to give his son the cold shoulder. Roo had enough of his dad’s attitude and told him off. Alf heeded her advice and finally sat down with Duncan for a talk. Duncan apologised and explained his side. He said he wanted to make up for all the things he did wrong to Alf, if he’d allow it.

It seemed that the ice between the father and son was finally broken. However, Duncan received a message that seemed to upset him. Later, he revealed that it was Caroline who’s been texting him. Apparently, she wanted to talk to Duncan about their son. Alf and Roo were floored to hear that Duncan had a five-year-old kid. Alf became angry again for not knowing about his grandson until then. Worse, Duncan mentioned the will and Alf assumed he’s only back in town and reconnected to make sure he won’t get cut off. Alf kicked Duncan out.

Meanwhile, Marilyn and John got excited to plan Jordan’s 16th birthday, but the teen didn’t want to have any celebration. The old couple was relentless and tried to convince Jordan to change his mind. Jordan revealed that his aversion to a 16th birthday celebration rooted from his dad, who promised they’d celebrate it together. Refusing to back down, Marilyn and John started planning for an out-of-town trip but they were interrupted by a knock on the door. A man named Aaron turned up at their doorstep, and it turned out to be Jordan’s dad.
