“Home and Away” recap

On Monday, the plane boarding Tori’s birthday party took off. As carbon dioxide emitted smoke inside the cabin, the passengers began to feel its effects. It’s not long before all the passengers passed out. Before she fell asleep, however, Leah was able to send a text message to Zac and VJ. It read: “Something wrong with plane I love you both so much.”

Meanwhile, Justin ran to the tarmac and headed to the radio room. He was able to contact Duncan and urged him to land the plane. It was too late, however – Duncan turned drowsy and the connection got lost. Justin called the police, trying to seek help. He was able to contact Tori’s phone and Brody answered, even though he was struggling to stay awake. Brody told Justin about their status. Justin asked his brother where their exact location was, but before Duncan could give the coordinates, he completely lost consciousness.

The small plane plunged down and crashed immediately to the ground. It was a few seconds of terrifying bits and pieces of the plane going around and around while its passengers were still passed out. Their loved ones tried to contact them to no avail. After talking to Justin, Alf delivered the bad news to Roo, Zac, VJ and Hunter – Justin heard them saying that the plane was going down. Everyone was in complete shock as they grapple to accept the horrifying information.

They all gathered at the tarmac with the police. The authorities assured them that that the police are doing everything they can to find the plane. Justin informed Phoebe that the plane crash wasn’t an accident – Spike was responsible for it. Everyone was on the edge, especially Ash and VJ, who worried about Billie and her baby. Tension ran high and the blaming game started. Ash and Justin headed out to track down the plane.

Meanwhile, at the site of the plane crash, Billie was the first one to come to, followed by the others. However, Billie’s seatbelt was stuck and she started crying in panic. Nate drove everyone out of the plane and tried to help Billie. He finally released the seatbelt and everyone was able to go outside, gasping for air. Nate checked in on everyone, but Mason noticed that Brody’s missing. They screamed for Brody’s name, trying to find him. Tori went to look for Brody, and Nate went with her.

As the remaining plane crash survivors remained at the site, Billie raised the dreadful question: “How is anybody going to find us?”
