Even though Harrison Ford got seriously hurt on his aviation accident, experts and witnesses claimed the seasoned actor’s crash landing was “masterful.” The experts and witnesses also cannot believe the actor was able to keep his wits during the scary incident and survived.

Ford’s passion for flying landed him in an accident where he suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvis and broken ankle. He crash landed his 1940s aircraft onto a Californian golf course last Thursday, Mar 5 and scared his family and fans. However, Page Six reports that aviation experts and witnesses are now lauding him for his flying skills. Many claimed it takes masterful skills for him to have landed that way and yet harmed no one on the crowded golf course, apart from himself.

“The fact [Ford] kept his wits about him was pretty miraculous,” a witness, Eddie Aguglia, 47 told Page Six. Eddie was one of those playing in the golf course with friends and witnessed how the aircraft hit the top of a tree close to the eighth hole at Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California. “There were a lot of people on the ground that could have gotten hurt, but he avoided them,” he added. According to the vice president of the Santa Monica Airport Association, Christian Fray claimed that the whole emergency landing was beautifully executed. He called Ford, “unbelievably well-trained pilot.” Earlier, Ryan Harris told Entertainment Weekly how Ford handled the accident demonstrated “masterful feat of airmanship.”

His famil, however does not care about him being “masterful.” Mirror UK reports that Calista Flockhart would rather see Ford safe. As such, a source claimed that Calista and the rest of the people around the actor would rather see him give up flying for good because the accident was such a “huge worry.” A friend of the “Ally McBeal” actress claimed that Calista was really shaken up by the incident, knowing that the accident could have ended so much worse for Ford than what had transpired. Aside from Ford’s family, his “Star Wars” co-star Carrie Fisher shared that Ford should take a break in the meantime with regard flying.
