Fans are already getting the groove of "Halo: Master Chief Collection," but developer 343 Industries is still hard at work in making sure that everything about the collection is at its optimal performance. A new update has been released, and the update contains a long list of improvements for the titles. "This particular content update addresses matchmaking performance, UI, gameplay and title-specific issues," said 343 Industries over at Halo Waypoint.

One of the biggest areas that have seen improvements is the matchmaking, as the developer enumerated a long list of updates. This means that matchmaking for "Halo: Master Chief Collection" will have better informative status updates so that players will not feel like they are wasting time for nothing.

The actual flow for matchmaking has also been improved. The updates ensure that players will no longer be stuck on the matchmaking screen, have an incorrect display of "Connecting to your game" and be prevented from seeing the "connection failed" dialogue if ever they are disconnected during the map voting screen.

There were also changes and improvements made to the UI of "Halo: Master Chief Collection." Now players need not worry about emblems and nameplates resetting to default during game sessions, inconsistencies in medals or incorrect career stats that may not have been synced across different profiles in multiple titles.

There are also some game-specific updates and improvements that came with the latest "Halo: Master Chief Collection." Expect a lot of errors and bugs addressed for "Halo 2: Anniversary," "Halo 2" and "Halo: CE."

The "Halo: Master Chief Collection" is not the only one that has updates for the week, as 343 Industries confirmed that the "Halo 5: Guardians" beta is still set for its Dec. 29 launch for multiplayer beta. Gamespot reports that the developer has denied any rumours of the beta run being moved up. This follows previous rumours of a Dec. 9 launch date for the multiplayer beta.

For the meantime, what fans can do in their "Halo" journey is to continue viewing "Halo: Nightfall," which has also just recently been shown via the Halo Channel. The series is already on its second episode titled "Sourced From Hell," which means that fans can still wait for the three remaining episodes of the five-part series.

According to the Xbox Wire, the second episode is one of the more action-packed episodes, as it brings more danger to the gang. More than that, character exposition seems to be the name of the game as fans get to delve deeper into the stories of the characters introduced from Episode 1.

Make sure to catch the remaining "Halo: Nightfall" episodes. The Halo Channel is already showing off the first episode, so there is still a chance to catch it. In the meantime, here's the schedule of the remaining episodes:

Episode 3 - Nov. 25 (7:00 pm EST, 4:00 pm PST)

Episode 4 - Dec. 2 (7:00 pm EST, 4:00pm PST)

Episode 5 - Dec. 9 (7:00 pm EST, 4:00 pm PST)
