Halo fans may be excited to get their Halo journey started -- and it's with good reason, as this week will be kicking off some anticipated launch events. The first of these is the launch of "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," which will be happening on Nov. 10, 10:00 p.m. at Microsoft stores.

Apart from food and raffle prizes, fans can expect to have the chance to try the game for themselves while waiting for the launch. Those who one of the 150 people who are first in queue for getting your "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will also have the chance to get a Halo shirt and Microsoft canteen as exclusive rewards. And just because you are in line, you don't have to worry about missing the HaloFest Premiere event, as it will be streaming in the Microsoft store so you can also check out the debut of "Halo: Nightfall."

Major Nelson adds via his blog that there are already nine Microsoft stores that have been confirmed to hold "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" events that will feature a DJ, early gameplay, prizes and more, and here's a quick list of those venues:

- Bridgewater Commons (Bridgewater, NJ)

- Burlington Mall (Burlington, MA)

- Fashion Show (Las Vegas, MV)

- Oak Park Mall (Overland Park, KS)

- Pioneer Place (Portland, OR)

- Plaza Las Americas (San Juan, PR)

And if that's not enough, celebrations will keep going on from Nov. 11 to Nov, 14 in 106 Microsoft stores around the U.S., where there will be daily Halo happy hours. These events will feature various giveaways, which are detailed in the blog link above.

There's also a new website that fans and potential new followers can check out before the launch. DualShockers has spotted a Halo Starscope, a newly launched website from Microsoft that lets you explore the iconic locations in the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" universe in 3D.

For older fans, there are also comparisons made between the old game and the new remastered version to get your gear running before the collection releases. One of the videos featured in the website can also be seen below.

Alongside the launch of the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," fans can also look forward to the original soundtrack from 343 Industries. Microsoft has recently announced that the soundtrack collection will be released in three formats, namely on the CD, vinyl record and digital audio.

According to Xbox Wire, the "Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack: will already be available for preorders on the Apple iTunes for $14.99. The soundtrack was put together by a number of people, helmed by Paul Lipson, senior audio director of 343 Industries.

The music in the soundtrack is from Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori, while adaptation and orchestration involves Lipson, Lennie Moore, Tom Salta, Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White. Those who are looking for more in the original soundtrack won't be disappointed, as it will have other new tracks from artists Periphery's Misha Mansoor and Steve Vai.
