This month, Halo fans are already looking forward to one date, Dec. 29, which is the debut of the three-week beta experience for "Halo 5: Guardians." And already, an hour-long teaser has been spotted for the multiplayer.

The alleged footage, as seen below, has been featured at the HaloFest last November in Los Angeles. Polygon reports that the video shows the two maps, Empire and Crossfire, which will also be seen in the multiplayer beta.

In addition, fans will get to see some of the abilities that players can do in "Halo 5: Guardians," such as Ground Pound, Thruster Pack, Spartan Change and Slide, Stabilizer and Clamber. These abilities can introduce new ways for players to explore and experience the gameplay in the title.

Interestingly, the expected beta is not just for testing bugs, but rather to ensure that "Halo 5: Guardians" can really handle the work that its fans will be giving it in the long run. For those looking to participate in the beta, the only way to do so would be to have a copy of "Halo: The Master Chief Collection."

The good thing is that buying "Halo: Master Chief Collection" this month will give customers $15 credit and 15,000 points via the Xbox Live Rewards. This means that now is the best time to buy a copy, which is the ticket to the beta experience.

There's also something to look forward to on the second week of December, specifically on the 9th, as this will be the series finale episode of "Halo: Nightfall." For those who may have missed what is touted to be a penultimate fourth episode, Xbox Wire provides a quick overview of the events.

According to the source, Agent Locke and the ONI square are still heading to the crashed ship but they are still faced with the Hunter worms, which are found on this side of the Halo ring. Tension is building up, and it appears that the team members are starting to form a kind of alliance, especially now that survival of the entire team does not seem possible anymore.

It's up to Locke and Aiken to make sure that the teams stay together and survive. Make sure to tune in next Tuesday, Dec. 9, to see what will happen in "Halo: Nightfall."
