After "Batman: Arkham Knight" was relegated to a 2015 release date, fans have started to see what else they can play during the months' long wait. But now that the year has reached its final month and 2015 is near, the hype for Rocksteady's final instalment in the "Arkham Knight" series is back with a bang.

In an official Rocksteady Ask Me Anything Thread, the developer has answered some of fans' burning questions. This has revealed some new interesting details for the game.

A number of areas in the title has been touched on, the first of which is the Batmobile's role in the game. The Batmobile appears to be more than just an interesting vehicular addition to the title, seeing as how the dev has planned the detail down to the interaction between the car and its driver.

According to Rocksteady, the new suit is more armoured and the robotic matches not only the gameplay but also functions so that it works in tandem with the Batmobile. The Batmobile has also been specified to be integrated with the missions, so that it will not be merely a vehicle that you can use for a joyride.

"When we added the Batmobile to the game, we wanted to make sure it's a fun, meaningful addition to every part of the game. So there will be points in the main story where you will need to use the Batmobile to progress, and if you're anything like me, there will be points where you can't use the Batmobile and wish it was there!" said Rocksteady.

Another aspect to look forward to is the combat gameplay in the game. Given that the titular villain Arkham Knight is looking at hand-to-hand contact combat and a more militarised way of fighting with Batman, it's expected that martial arts will play a bigger role for "Batman: Arkham Knight."

Rocksteady has also detailed that the animation team is going for more of a realistic and "awesome' feel to the combat fights. This can already be seen in a previous trailer, which blends cinematic approach into the actual gameplay. What's more, the martial arts fighters in the game are more challenging in that they are faster and can dodge and counter your attacks, so don't expect an easy enemy takedown.

As far as the storyline is concerned, and for those who are still holding out that The Joker will make a comeback, Rocksteady's words seem to put an end to that direction. The planning stage for the narrative of "Batman: Arkham Knight" starts with the Joker's death as the takeoff point, and the events lead on to exploring what will happen once he is no longer in the picture. This means picturing who will lead the power struggle of villains and what the city will fall into after the death of the Dark Knight's biggest antagonist.

For fans who have been very vigilant about what to expect with "Batman: Arkham Knight," Rocksteady has previously released a trailer last month. This was the first episode of "Ace Chemicals Infiltration, which basically featured a new combat navigation in the title. It also showed off some stealth moves for the Dark Knight, as well as explored what else the Batmobile can do.

The trailer can be seen below, but for those who have already seen it, there's something else to look forward to later on. First teased during the Reddit "Ask Me Anything," the official Facebook for "Batman: Arkham Knight" has finally teased another trailer expected to start off the month with a bang.

"Witness the second chapter of the series, as Batman drives deeper into the heart of the Ace Chemicals facility in his crusade to stop Scarecrow and confront the Arkham Knight," said the official Facebook page. The official website, which can be seen here, will carry the second episode, so check the link to see the trailer.

What's notable about the series of trailers is that it shows off how the gameplay is truly next-gen for the game. The Batmobile may be icing on the cake of playing "Batman: Arkham Knight," but it truly seals the deal of being that one addition that defines a next-gen title.
