CBS’ “The Good Wife” Season 7 is set to premiere on Sunday, Oct. 4. A new teaser of the show has surfaced, focusing on Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), who might have turned into an alcoholic.

TVLine reports that during an interview with “Sunday Morning” on CBS, Margulies shared that her character is very fond of pinot noir, and the habit might develop into something more serious and risky.

“I think Alicia might have a drinking problem. She’s lonely. And I think wine is numbing her out a little bit. And I think that’s something we might address in Season 7,” “The Good Wife” star said.

Alicia will also try to revive her struggling career as a lawyer. She will represent less fortunate clients, particularly those who were arrested and looking to be released on bail in bond court.

CBS Los Angeles notes that Alicia has to earn money. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of law firms that are actually willing to hire her. In the “The Good Wife” Season 3 premiere, she will go to bond court, which is actually where people who fail to join law firms usually end up. In her new job, Alicia will meet Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), another attorney who will try to lure her clients away in the beginning. Subsequently, the two lawyers will develop a friendship and feel more comfortable around each other.

Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will also be in Season 7 of “The Good Wife.” Crouse has been disbarred and turned into an investigator who will meet Alicia again, according to CBS Los Angeles. Reports suggest that the two might form a romantic relationship during the course of the season.

Vanessa Williams will also reappear in her role as Courtney Boalt. Additional cast members and returning actors are expected in the upcoming season as well.

Meanwhile, Alicia will reportedly be helping her husband Peter (Chris Noth) with his presidential campaign. Part of the task will involve her appearing on a morning show. The two have actually been in a rocky relationship in the past several months.

“The Good Wife” airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
