After “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” was successfully released on Xbox One, many fans wondered if the remake would be coming to the PC right after, particularly Windows 10. Judging from the remarks of Xbox head Phil Spencer, it looks like it will be coming out somewhat early next year, though no official date has been given.

When asked when the “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” would come out, Spencer replied through his Twitter, stating that it “won’t be too far into 2016.” PC users are probably happy with the fact that there is a timeframe for the game, though a proper release date might have been better.

Still, it looks like the game will be worth the wait for shooter fans. According to PC Gamer, this version of “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” will be playable in 4K resolution and have DirectX 12 support. In short, this will probably be the best looking version of the shooter to have ever come out.

“Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” is a remake of the original “Gears of War” that came out on the Xbox 360. This version of the game comes with a revamped graphics system and doesn’t look out of place compared to the other Xbox One titles so one can imagine how good it will look on the PC.

It will be interesting to see if the PC version gets any exclusive features not seen in the Xbox One version. Not many details have been revealed about the PC version of the game, so those who like playing games on their computers are in for a long wait.

When it was originally released on the Xbox 360, many gamers immediately fell in love with the game. This was thanks to its gorgeous visuals and intense gameplay, with Marcus Fenix shooting as many aliens as he could to save the world.

While there isn’t a release date, there may be some relief that PC users won’t have to wait too long to play one of the best shooters on the Xbox One. Hopefully the developers work hard on the game and the fans don’t have to be a part of a mess, like the buggy PC version of “Batman: Arkham Knight.”
