The HBO hit series “Game of Thrones” is approaching the middle of the season. The upcoming fourth episode is the last of a batch of leaked episodes, which is making the fans eagerly wait for the arrival of fresh new episodes. HBO has released the official episode titles and synopses of episode 4, episode 5, episode 6, episode 7 and episode 8. Here’s what has been revealed so far: [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

Season 5 Episode 4: “Sons of The Harpy”

Based on the title, there will be scenes in Meereen where Daenerys continues to struggle with the masters and the slaves. The Sons of the Harpy will be bringing the conflict to a higher level in this episode.

The official synopsis also speaks of the faith militant or the High Sparrow’s subjects becoming more aggressive. Meanwhile, the sand snakes are expected to make their first appearance this episode. Jamie and Bronn will also be arriving at Dorne, giving fans a chance to see more of the southern territory.

Season 5 Episode 5: “Kill the Boy”

One has to wonder which boy will be killed in this episode. The synopsis states that Daenerys will be making a difficult decision in faraway Meereen. Could she be the one doing the killing?

Meanwhile. Jon Snow is also facing some difficult decisions as Lord Commander and the synopsis states that he is teaming up with an unlikely ally. Still in the North, Brienne continues her search for Sansa. Sansa is still surrounded by enemies, trapped in her own castle. This episode might feature a truly horrifying scene. Alfie Allen, who plays Theon, has revealed that something horrifying will happen that involves him, Sansa and Ramsay.

Season 5 Episode 6: “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”

Episode 6 goes from Westeros and all the way across the narrow sea while following Arya’s training and Tyrion’s journey with Jorah Mormont to meet Daenerys Targaryen. In Dorne, the Sand Snakes are ready to put their plan of revenge into action just in time for Jaime Lannister’s arrival. Meanwhile, the subject of all their efforts, Princess Myrcella, has her own plans with Prince Trystanne.

Season 5 Episode 7: “The Gift”

The title could be referring to the strip of land that Jon’s ancestors had given to the wildlings many years ago in order to survive the lengthy winters. The land has been nicknamed "The Gift" and may be the subject of this episode. The synopsis speaks about Jon preparing for conflict and Stannis remaining stubborn. Will Stannis finally march upon WInterfell? With a lot of things still going on between Sansa, Brienne and Theon, Stannis might have to hold back a bit longer. All the way down south at the other end of Westeros, Jamie is still attempting to bring what remains of his family back together.

Season 5 Episode 8: “Hardhome”

The synopsis for episode 8 is pretty concise reading: “Arya makes progress in her training. Sansa confronts an old friend. Cersei (Lena Headey) struggles. Jon travels.”

The most compelling part of this synopsis is probably Jon Snow’s journey. As the episode title suggests, he is heading towards Hardhome, an abandoned town somewhere beyond the wall that has recently been re-populated by some wildlings that fled North after the battle against Stannis and the Night’s Watch. It has been previously revealed that the big battle of the season will take place here. Just like in previous seasons of “Game of Thrones” it looks like the formula will be followed with the epic fight scenes taking place in episode 9.

Several storylines are staying more or less true to the books but others like Sansa Stark have gone completely in a different direction. Find out how things play out when “Game of Thrones” airs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. on HBO.
