Former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson believes that the race for Premier League glory has yet to be determined in spite of Chelsea leading by what can be considered as a relatively big margin due to the tight competition in England's top-flight.

The west London outfit are six points ahead of second-place Southampton and eight from holders Manchester City.

"I think it is absolutely crazy that people are already talking about Chelsea walking away with the league," Wilson told Sky Sports.

The Sky Blues were predicted to be favourites given the quality of their squad, and is seen as a viable challenger in the long run.

"We are talking about nine points and it can turn on an injury, it can be part bad luck with some stupid decision made against you," he continued.

"So the league title is certainly not beyond Manchester City. Whether Southampton can continue their brilliant form, I doubt seriously."

He did not count out the Gunners, who have been struggling to keep their squad healthy.

"And Arsenal would be very much outsiders and they need to get a totally fit squad together to give them any opportunity."
