The Agent of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, Viktor Kolar, revealed that the out-of-favour 32-year-old will not be leaving Stamford Bridge in January.

Cech has only made one Premier League appearance and as a substitute at that, replacing Thibaut Courtois, who was suspected to have had incurred a dangerous injury at that time. He started twice in their four outings in the Champions League, but it was for relatively less significant matches against lowly NK Maribor.

He made it known in the past that he wouldn't want to waste his time watching his side from the bench and would seek to move elsewhere should the circumstances persist. However, his representative believes, by implication, that a summer transfer would be a better option.

"In the football world you can never rule out anything definitively," said Kolar.

"However, if you put together the facts with Petr's ambitions of a top-class goalkeeper, you will not be left with too many options."

"If we add to this the actual little need of these few clubs to search a new goalkeeper in the winter's transfer window, then you will find out that the chance of a transfer in the next weeks or months is not very high.

For his part, Jose Mourinho also rubbished rumours of Cech's exit, insisting that he has yet to receive any offer from any club.

"Are you telling me that or asking me that? On which Mickey Mouse website? On which Mickey Mouse blog?" Mourinho said.

"At this moment, news is coming instantly. News born every day, every minute, every second."

"Some news are not even signed. Some website, some blocks, we don't even know where we get the news."

"I promise you I tell you the truth. On my desk, normally from my board's desk the information arrives, I have zero. Zero proposals."
