WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. of the U.S. speaks to reporters during a media day at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, Nevada September 2, 2014. Mayweather will face Marcos Maidana of Argentina in a rematch at the MGM Grand Gard
Mayweather, who loves to brag about his riches on social media, is named the highest-paid athlete in the world. Even without endorsements, the unbeaten boxer managed to earn as much as $105 million. He is the only athlete, besides Tiger Woods, to hit the $100 million bracket. Mayweather’s revenue from his bouts against Canelo Alvarez amounting to $200 million and Marcos Maidana (with a guaranteed $32 million purse in May) was enough for him to secure the first place on the list. People who committed domestic abuse may try to deny or refuse to admit the act, either because of shame for themselves or fear of other people's judgment. Floyd Mayweather Jr's eldest son Koraun has called the undefeated boxer a coward for refusing to take responsibility in the 2010 incident when the boxer beat Josie Harris, Koraun's mother and Mayweather's former partner.

In an exclusive interview with USA Today, Harris recounted the day that Mayweather beat her. Harris and Mayweather's eldest son Koraun also spoke with the news outlet and detailed what happened in September 2010. Koraun was the reason why Harris was spared from further harm when he crept out of his room to tell the police what was going on in their house.

The night the beating incident happened, Koraun said that Mayweather told him to stay locked up in his room. He obliged to the order of his father and sat in his room. He said he thought about the best thing for him to do.

According to Koraun, he initially ran up to the guesthouse where Harris' friend Georgia Parker was living. He told her what was going on, but he said that Parker didn't believe him. Then Koraun tried to sneak through the front door to get to the security gate, but Mayweather's friend James McNair was there and blocked the way.

"I went back into my room and locked the door and then ran back out my bathroom and then hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance gate," Koraun said. "I just told the guard that my mom was getting hurt and to call the ambulance and the police," Koraun recalled. When the police authorities arrived, Koraun told them what happened.

Koraun said that remembering the incident and telling the story again still makes him mad. He said that what upsets him more is the fact that Mayweather refused to admit his actions. "He is a coward," Koraun said.

Koraun revealed that he and his father still hangs out, but he isn't really fond of their get-together. He said he and Mayweather often watch a movie or play bowling.

Recently, Mayweather shared a snap of him with Koraun on Instagram. The five-division world champion has gifted Koraun Bentley a golf kart on his 15th birthday. Aside from Koraun, Mayweather has two more kids with Harris, Iyanna and Jirah.
