Curtis James Jackson III, who is professionally known as 50 Cent, released his 11th mixtape titled “The Kanan Tape” on Dec. 9, 2015. Recently, the protégé of Marshall Mathers III, who is professionally known as Eminem, took to Instagram to promote the album.

Eminem was not featured as a collaborator in “The Kanan Tape.” Instead, 50 Cent’s collaborators in the mixtape are Lil Boosie, Young Buck, Post Malone and Sonny Digital and the mixtape featured production from Illmind, Colt 45, Sonny Digital, Scoop DeVille, The Alchemist, London on da Track and Bandplay.

After releasing “The Kanan Tape,” 50 Cent will release his sixth studio album titled “Street King Immortal” through Capitol Records, G-Unit Records and Caroline Records. Among the producers of the upcoming album are Eminem, Dr. Dre, Metro Boomin, Frank Dukes and Scott Storch, among others.

“The Kanan Tape” is named after 50 Cent’s character Kanan on the Starz drama series titled “Power,” which the rapper is set to reprise in its upcoming third season. The series was created by Courtney Kemp Agboh, who also serves as an executive producer along with 50 Cent with Randall Emmett, Mark Canton and David Knoller.

“Power” Season 3 is expected to premiere in June and the first episode is titled “Call Me James.” 50 Cent’s co-stars are Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Andy Bean, Shane Johnson, Lucy Walters, Adam Huss, J.R. Ramirez, Luis Antonio Ramos, Rotimi, Michael Rainey Jr., La La Anthony, Franky G, Jerrell Lee Wesley and Naturi Naughton, among others.

In other news, Naughton recently made headlines after helping authorities catch a Bahamian man who was trying to hack scripts, pictures and other things from the accounts of 130 celebrities. The man named Alonzo Knowles, 23, was trying to sell a script from “Power” he stole from her computer, New York Daily News reports.

On Jan. 11, Monday, Knowles was caught in Manhattan for trying to sell incriminating photos and confidential information he had downloaded from computers of several celebrities. The Bahamian man pleaded not guilty, TMZ reported.
