The launch of Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium can be expected to be a star-studded ceremony as the buzz is rife that the event organisers are trying to pitch in the bigwigs of the music industry for the launch, including Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Justin Bieber.

Bristol City's newly-rebuilt Ashton Gate stadium is all set for a 2017 launch and the several big names are expected to be roped in.

Sheeran’s cousin, Jethro Sheeran, has confirmed the probability of the “Thinking Out Loud” hitmaker’s performance at a gala opening. It is also possible that Sheeran may perform with Jethro at the stadium next year.

Jethro Sheeran also revealed during an interview with the Daily Star that Justin Bieber's manager is also considering the idea of the pop-artist’s performance at the launch of the stadium. In addition to Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, Rap God Eminem may also be roped in to entertain thousands of fans in south Bristol in 2017.

The launch of the stadium is being planned on such a large scale as the stadium has been rebuilt with £45 million. However, the stadium is still under construction.

Ashton Gate Stadium also comprises of a premier conference and events venue which will be available to hire for corporate and private events, a statement on the stadium’s official website read.

“All rooms are suitable for a wide variety of events ranging from weddings, conferences and meetings to all kinds of private celebrations,” the website states. The capacity of the stadium is nearly 27,000 and also features state-of-the-art facilities. It is also set to have a flexible exhibition space of 5,000 square meters.

Another key highlight of the stadium is that is comes with a complimentary car parking. The location and outstanding transport links also serve as a key highlight of the stadium. The appointment can be set up to see the largest events venue in the South West of England.
