Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is one glamorous momma as she is almost back to her pre-baby weight in less than three months of giving birth to her first child Prince George. The Duchess left the newly christened baby George with doting dad Prince William at home as she stepped out in a graceful, floor-length ball gown for a gala dinner on Thursday night.

The hot momma was at her glamorous best when she stepped out to be the guest of honour at the Kensington Palace dinner in aid of Action on Addiction hosted by the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Philanthropic Initiatives in London.

The Duchess was quick to change to a sexy ink-blue silky Jenny Packham gown from the sophisticated Alexander McQueen cream-coloured suit she wore to the christening on Wednesday. Kate's gown retails around £3,580 at the Packham's store.

The beautiful gown accentuated Kate's best features - her long neck was highlighted by a V-neck criss-cross neck line with gathered short sleeves and has a hidden back zip. The designer highlighted her height and waist with a tailored bodice and full skirt.

Kate completed the look with minimal jewellery and wore only a silver coloured watch and a ring. Her hairstyle should now be officially recognised as The Kate Middleton style as the Duchess loves to have her beautiful blonde hair blow-dried in outer curls and does not use any accessories.

Talking about her make-up, we all know Kate by now. As a bride she did her own make-up on her special day and kept everything minimal. The Duchess followed her own make-up style even at the gala dinner and only highlighted her eyes with the ink-blue -eyeliner that she is really fond of. The 31-year-old new momma preferred to carry no handbag or a clutch and let the feminine ink-blue gown do all the talking for her!

The Duchess presented Dame Amelia Fawcett with the 100 Women in Hedge Funds' 2013 European Industry Leadership Award.

"We are honoured that the Duchess of Cambridge has once again lent her support to 100 Women in Hedge Funds for our London gala, and particularly as one of her first public appearances since the birth of her son," said Amanda Pullinger, the 100 Women in Hedge Funds executive director.

"Action on Addiction is an enormously worthy cause and I'm delighted that this evening's event is such a success," added Amanda.
