It was His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge's special day and he displayed best behaviour at his christening on Wednesday. It was a second public outing for the 3-month-old George but his royal etiquettes were more than perfect. Read how.

Baby George did not cry, throw any tantrums and was not panicky at all when he was brought to the historic event. The future king of England was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace on Wednesday in a small private affair which included not more than 21 special guests at the ceremony.

The little prince was a picture of cuteness with innocence in his eyes as he arrived at the scene cradled in a car seat - sitting with his mother next to him in the car. Probably George was well-fed and content when he arrived at the chapel and was welcomed by his relatives. Most babies cry when they see new faces and even throw tantrums but Prince George was a calm, quiet and picture of the best-behaved baby.

Daily Mail has pictures of his father Prince William getting christened at the music room of the palace in a small ceremony and he is seen crying hysterically as his mother Princess Diana consoles him. But baby George was different.

Cradled in the arms of her mother Catherine, baby George looked contented and greeted his relatives - the grandmothers Camilla Parker and Queen Elizabeth among others, with wide-open eyes.

The royal baby was dressed royally too. George wore a special handmade replica of Queen Victoria's daughter's christening robe which was cream in colour and resembled his mother's and aunt Pippa Middleton's dresses.

Little George did not utter a single squeak or cry when he was christened, according to the sources present in the ceremony. "He went in smiling, came out smiling and, as far as we are aware, smiled throughout," said an insider, according to Daily Mail.

However the doting father Prince William, who had been helping Kate by sharing her sleepless night as a new mom, revealed that the quiet behaviour was new to George.

"It's the first time he's been quiet all day," William revealed.

Looks like the royal baby loves going out and public appearances do not make him nervous at all. A hint for the new parents to George out more often?
