Pippa Middleton made quite a lot of headlines at her sister Kate Middleton's wedding when she wore a lovely gown which showed off her famous assets. The lovely aunt, who makes conscious efforts to dress good, looked equally radiant and gorgeous in the cream colour dress she chose for the christening ceremony of Prince George of Cambridge on Wednesday.

The gorgeous aunt to George chose to grace the occasion in similar hues which her sister Kate had chosen - the cream colour. Most of the guests at Prince George's christening wore cream/offwhite or white coloured clothes to match with Kate and George's dresses for the historic event. Pippa too kept her design simple yet sophisticated when she wore a 'trapeze' coat and 'Paris' knee length by British designer, Suzannah Crabb for her nephew's christening, Daily Mail reports.

The 30-year-old prepared for the historic day in advance, according to her designer. Since white will be the colour for the coming winter, Pippa chose to wear her dress in cream. The quintessential style diva teamed up her dress with Edwina Ibbotson hat and a matching clutch by Wlbur and Gussie. She wore nude stiletto pumps to complete the look.

Pippa's coat had the A-line silhouette which accentuated all of her best features - her legs and even her slim waist. It was fuss free and was a perfect and elegant choice for baby George's special day.

"We aimed for understated beauty, drawing inspiration from a 1960s coat dress that I bought in LA, among other vintage looks and archive pieces. The outfit had to be both beautiful and appropriate from the length of the hem, to the style of the millinery and the subtle colour and cut," Pippa's dress designer Suzannah Crabb said in a statement.

"Lace has been a popular fabric choice by significant guests at royal christenings since 1926 and a dress in a style similar was worn by Princess Victoria of Sweden to the christening of her daughter Princess Estelle in 2012," Crabb added
