"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" may be over and done but for its' lead star, Shailene Woodley, her fame has only just begun. Woodley is slated to star in two highly-anticipated film adaptations namely "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars." Given the projects and not to mention the latest shoot for Marie Claire, Woodley has been named the next "Jennifer Lawrence."

Jennifer Lawrence had been the queen of film heroines ever since she nabbed the role of Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptation for "The Hunger Games." Since then, Lawrence's career and fame has skyrocketed. From winning an Oscar Award to gracing the cover of countless fashion magazines, Lawrence had been dubbed as Hollywood's "It" Girl.

Well, it looks like Shailene Woodley is set for the same path given she too nabbed the iconic role of Tris in the upcoming film adaptation of "Divergent." The books written by Veronica Roth have been named the next "Hunger Games." So, it wouldn't be surprising that Woodley would be named the next "Jennifer Lawrence."

Apart from the iconic roles, Woodley has something in common with Jennifer Lawrence which is her modesty. Before getting cast in "The Descendants," Woodley worked in retail. Also, Shailene never addressed herself as a "celebrity."

"I don't use it to describe myself. In high school, a lot of my friends didn't know I was an actor because I didn't talk about it. They would come to school and be like, 'Wait, were you on My Name Is Earl last night?' It was something I kept under wraps because I did it for myself and not for anybody else," explained Woodley in her interview with Marie Claire magazine, August 2013 issue.

Like Lawrence, Woodley has the acting chops to boot. Despite not having won any awards, Woodley has been nominated at the SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.
