“Devious Maids” Season 4, Episode 8 (“I Saw The Shine”) airs this Monday, July 25, on Lifetime. This week’s new episode is expected to unravel more mysteries as the lead characters get entangled in ––deeper mess. Zoila (Judy Reyes) is seeing Adrian Powell (Tom Irwin) in a new light, while Rosie (Dania Ramirez) fears for her friend’s safety in the arms of her boyfriend Kyle (Ryan McPartlin).

Spoiler alert: This review contains “Devious Maids” Season 4 spoilers. There are only two more episodes left this season after “I Saw The Shine.”

'Devious Maids' Season 4, Episode 8: What is The Circle?

Rosie is determined to get to the bottom of The Circle, the cult that holds the answers to who killed Peri Westmore (Mariana Klaveno) and why. Viewers have learned at this point that little Tucker (Carter Birchwell) is not Spence’s (Grant Show) son. There also seems to be enough reason to believe that Spence was framed for his ex-wife’s murder. More important, Tucker is also key to something that the cult wants to achieve. Rosie is getting so close to some real answers.

Fans are hoping for Rosie to enlighten Zoila on the depth of mess she has fallen into in this week’s new episode. Zoila may be dealing with her Adrian Powell connection, now, but soon her life with Kyle will crash right into Rosie’s investigation. The two maids and Genevieve Delatour (Susan Lucci) are all connected to The Circle now, which means all of them could be in grave danger.

The writers made an impressive move in delivering a reason to keep Zoila and Genevieve apart for a while, so that the latter could take in Rosie and the three of them could solve the biggest questions of the season: Who killed Peri? What is The Circle really all about?

'Devious Maids' Season 4 Update: ‘The cliffhanger this year is… completely unexpected.’ - Rebecca Wisocky

Speaking to TV Line, “Devious Maids” cast member Rebecca Wisocky said she did not know whether the Season 4 finale would be the series ending, but she knew one thing: something “completely unexpected” is about to unfold this year.

The “Devious Maids” Season 4 finale is expected to be even more explosive than last year’s finale, which left viewers to wonder whether Adrian Powell was dead or alive. Wisocky’s teaser seems to imply that another life (or lives) would be in a life threatening by end of the season.

Earlier, Susan Lucci and Sol Rodríguez both said the fourth season of the Lifetime dramedy is its best yet. The “Devious Maids” Season 4 finale is expected to air on Aug. 2 on Lifetime.
