“Deadpool’s” trailer is out and looks promising. Humor is the main highlight of the 2.54 minute long trailer that holds back the end but reveals almost everything about the movie.

It opens with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) discovering about his cancer. Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) hugs him and tells him that she loves him and they will fight the disease together. Wilson tells her that cancer has affected his liver, lungs prostate and brain, all things he cannot live without.

A man can be seen telling Wilson, “You are a fighter. We can give you abilities, most men can only dream of; make you a superhero.” Wilson humorously tells the man not to make his super suit “green or animated.” He is subjected to a rogue experiment and turns into superhero Deadpool.

As Deadpool, he is seen wearing a red and black costume and fighting a series of men. In one of the scenes, after shooting down a few bad men; he says “I am touching myself tonight,” and in another scene, Deadpool takes of his mask and shows his distorted face to Weasel (T.J Miller). The trailer ends with Weasel analyzing Deadpool’s face.

Tim Miller directed “Deadpool” tells the story of comic book character Wilson who gets accelerated healing powers after a man experiments on him. Using his powers, Wilson goes out to seek revenge on the man who conducted the experiment.

Speaking about the film Reynolds told LA Times , “It goes in such a different direction than a superhero movie usually goes… It’s a nasty piece of work. It’s just based in so much emotional filth, completely. It sort of treads into the world of an emotionally damaged person.”

He also added that no such superhero movie has been made till date. “Deadpool” opens Feb.12, 2016. Reynolds, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg are the producers, and Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have written the screenplay. It also stars Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Andre Tricoteux, and Leslie Uggams.
