Ryan Reynolds addressed the controversy surrounding the picture of him carrying her baby in a carrier. When the picture was posted on Instagram, many followers noted that the baby was not secure. Reynolds stated that he is a first-time dad.

During an interview on Today Tuesday, Reynolds said that the baby was not secured properly in the carrier he was wearing. He added that he is a first-time dad and “that is not the first mistake I’ve made.” He joked that he can guarantee that it won’t be his last.

Meanwhile, he talked to Extra TV and mentioned that the baby looks like him. “Baby looks like me, and I’m not saying that like any sense of gloating, but I’ve heard, like, there is a sort of genetic predisposition like an evolutionary tactic to make sure the father stays,” said the “Deadpool” star.

Reynolds has been busy promoting his new movie, however he wants to be close to Blake Lively and James. The two have been living in Bangkok. He talked to AOL Build and shared that he is lucky and grateful to the job that he has. He doesn’t take it for granted at all.

“We have long hours, but we also get breaks, unlike most people who get one week off a year — I might have three months off,” Reynolds said (via Us Weekly). “Self/Less” star also said that he cherish having a daughter. “When I wrapped Deadpool five weeks ago, within an hour — I’m not joking, I still had chunks of glue from the scar makeup on my face — I was boarding a plane to Bangkok so I could get to my wife and baby right away,” the actor said.

“Deadpool” has completed the filming and is expected to hit the theatres in 2016. Share your views in the section below.
