Kate Mara, who is starring in the highly anticipated "Fantastic Four" reboot, has talked about how it was like working on the set and what fans can expect from the upcoming film. She said that filming such an intense film can be a little draining, but her co-stars kept the stress away by goofing around.

“Fantastic Four 2” is Mara’s first superhero film, and she believes that it is a unique offering. In an interview with Flare Magazine, the actress said that “Fantastic Four” is so much more than what people would expect from an average superhero movie. She said that fans can expect to see an “exciting, fantastical action-packed thrilling” film, and they can take home much more. She explained that the superheroes are not just figures with superhero powers. The former “House of Cards” actress shared that movie goers can also get “the emotional and very real human part of who these [characters] are.” She added that moviegoers can see that the movie is not just about battles and powers but also about family coming together and how family members truly support each other.

While Mara is obviously excited about the film, she said that filming it was a little tiresome for her as well as for her co-stars, and they goofed around on set to beat the stress of filming an intense film. "The movie is very intense, so the set was an intense environment. But because of our dynamic, there was a lot of joking around," she said while speaking of her co-stars Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. "When you're having to emote a certain kind of energy and vibe all day, you need to joke around to let off some steam."

Mara, who is playing Sue Storm in the upcoming film, is not the only one who is excited about the film hitting the screens soon. Director Josh Tank promised that the film, which is set to release on Aug. 07, would be a big one and involves “a lot of stakes.” The director claimed that the audience would certainly be treated to an “epic, massive, huge, multi power slugfest.”
