New photo from the “Deadpool” has emerged online and it showcases Ryan Reynolds in the character's costume. In the image, which appears to be a movie still, he can be seen standing in the backdrop of buildings. He can be seen wearing a red and black costume. He seems to be carrying two guns in his hands. His face can be seen covered with a mask.

Entertainment Weekly released the still. Reynolds is reportedly excited with Deadpool’s solo outing. For him, the film is a “nasty piece of work.” He echoed this sentiment in a recent interview. "It sort of treads into the world of an emotionally damaged person. I always say that Deadpool is a guy in a highly militarized shame spiral. ... It’s so different than the superhero movies to date, it departs so far from that,” he said to Hero Complex.

Reynolds has previously played the character in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine;” however, according to the website that was a restrained version and in the solo film all the comic book characteristics of Deadpool will be explored.

In the comics, Deadpool is a disfigured, mentally unstable mercenary. He has a talkative nature and ability to break fourth wall. His alter ego is Wade Wilson and he gets accelerated healing power after undergoing a rogue experiment. He embraces his superpowers and decides to go on a search of a man who almost killed him.

Tim Miller has directed “Deadpool” from the screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It is based on the comic book of same name by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld. The other star cast consists of, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and T.J. Miller. It concerns the origin story of Deadpool who will be shown having dark and twisted sense of humour.

Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Reynolds have produced the film and it is scheduled to be released on Feb 12, 2016. The principal photography of the film took place in Vancouver. Reynolds also took to twitter to announce the completion of production.
