The six remaining pairs on “Dancing With The Stars” week 9 will perform two dance routines. As the show is inching towards the grand finale, the contestants are also vying for the Mirrorball trophy. The couples will first do their individual dance routines, followed by team dances inspired by special live productions.

For the second round, six couples are paired off and will do side-by-side mini group routines inspired by various shows, including the musical Chicago and Cirque du Soleil’s tribute to the Beatles, Buddy TV reported. According to ABC, inspiration for the team routines were drawn from each teams’ travels around the country to experience live productions of famous shows.

Sharna Burgess told Glamour about this team dance on Monday. She said it was a new challenge that they had never done before. She added that they had been teamed up by Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy. The four of them are also travelling to Las Vegas to watch the Cirque live production as their team had to create a dance inspired by the live production, Wetpaint reported. “Some people will travel to New York, some will go on a cruise ship,” Sharna said.

Meanwhile "Dancing With The Stars" took to its official Twitter and shared pictures of the contestants in the live production.
