Criminal Minds Season 9 Episode 4 is bringing in a lot of new things, starting with the new face Esai Morales, who will be playing Matt Cruz, the new section chief of the BAU team.

But a promo video sneak peek shows that a new criminal who wants to make use of the Internet and the phenomenon of viral videos will also be making his debut. The killer will be played by veteran TV actor David Anders, who has appeared in the likes of Alias, CSI, Charmed, CSI: Miami, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, House, and Arrow.

Aside from the sneak peak, Spoiler TV also provides a number of promo photos for Episode 5, titled Route 66. This time, Haley (Meredith Monroe) and The Reaper (C. Thomas Howell) make a comeback, but only in Aaron Hotchner's (Thomas Gibson) hallucinations as complications from his stabbing injuries put him on the edge of life and death.

Meanwhile, the BAU team will be investigating the disappearance of a missing teenager. Perhaps this will be the final reunion between Aaron and his late wife, so it's not an episode to miss for all Haley and Aaron fans.

Jigsaw to live up to Criminal Minds tradition?

Criminal Minds executive producer Janine Sherman Barrois may be cooking up another murderously good TV series, which was recently sold to CBS.

Titled Jigsaw, the new crime drama is said to be the brainchild of not only Barrois but also Fake Empire's Josh Schwartz, Stephane Savage, and Len Goldstein.

This will mark the third time that Barrois steps into and explores the world of criminals, starting with the hit series that has been running for nine seasons now, Criminal Minds. In 2012, Barrois was also part of the trio that got together for the hour-long Darkness Falls, supposedly sold to CBS. According to Hollywood Reporter, Barrois teamed up with fellow Criminal Minds veterans Erica Messer and Mark Gordon.

Third time's the charm with Jigsaw, and Indiewire gives an overall glimpse of what it will be about: "Jigsaw" is an epic crime drama that follows the intersecting lives of homicide detectives, prosecutors, defense attorneys, the Media, and the Mayor's office as they work to solve the most scandalous crimes San Francisco has seen in decades.

This may take a very different spin from Criminal Minds, which has focused more on the psychology behind what makes criminals tick and snap. Given that there will be attorneys and the media, perhaps Jigsaw will focus more on not side of the law as well as the potential sensationalism of crimes with the media.

Expectations are high for Barrois who has already come far from her beginnings in The Jamie Foxx Show, The PJs, and Third Watch.
